Who's Who Paul

Hi, I'm Paul H (sometimes known as Paula - but that's another story!). I live in the Peak District with my wife Sue and 4 boys Gideon, Timothy and twins Reuben and and Jonathan. As well as being able to live in a lovely part of the country I am lucky enough to also be able to work from home developing computer software.

I first traveled to Lourdes with HCPT Group 54 in 1986. Although terrified about what to expect (and indeed what would be expected of me) before the first trip, I very quickly came to see HCPT for what it really is - one big family unit that uses the environment of Lourdes to bring together people of all ages and backgrounds into a most unique atmosphere of love, friendship and total selflessness.

I have been hooked on traveling to Lourdes with HCPT, and particularly Manchester Region from the beginning and despite what is now a very well tried and tested formula for the week, every year seems to bring something new with it and improves on the year before. I am not able to go every year as I used to now that I have my own family commitments but still try to go as regularly as I can. 2008 should be around my 12th or 13th trip I think. I hope I can continue to provide my small contribution to the success of HCPT for many years to come.
