Who's Who Liz

My name is Liz I have been going to Lourdes with HCPT The Pilgrimage Trust since 1990.  The first group I went with was 161 from Blackburn and when they were unable to go one year I went with my first Manchester Group 157.  However I found my home with Group 54 and when our group leader Bridie retired in 2001 I somehow found myself becoming the Group leader with great support from Bernie.

My first year as group leader began with great reservations but with the help and encouragement of some very experienced helpers, group leaders and the new helpers fitting into the group so well I had a fantastic first year.  One helper commented that “it will be a hard act to follow”.  I hope with help, continuing support and prayers I will continue to enjoy something I have found I love and feel very privileged to be a part of.
